n.b. Sonata

n.b.SonataBuilt by Pat Buckle at Stibbington on the River Nene in 1994, Sonata is a 58 foot long narrowboat, built in what is called the semi-traditional style. We own a 1/12 share of her, which give us 3-4 weeks cruising per year. Currently based in the midlands, we have a good choice of routes for both one and two-week cruises, and during the last 2 1/2 years we have visited the Ashby Canal, South & North Oxford Canals, GU Leicester Section, and GU main line. We've also been to swanneckMarket Harborough and Welford, which are both well worth making the effort to visit.
Although Sonata can, at a pinch, sleep seven, we find that there's more storage space for all the food and drink if we limit the numbers to four or five...!
